The name is the method. A plumber pressure-tests a line before closing the walls. We pressure-test a vendor's claims before you pay for them.

## How we handle facts

Every price is read off the vendor's own page on a stated date. If the vendor hides the price, we say so, and that counts as a finding.

Every quote is from a real, named person, dated and sourced. Never invented.

Vendor case studies are labelled as the vendor's own numbers and run next to what the review sites and the complaint records say.

We name the vendor. When a tool is bad, we say so.

## Who writes it

Written in New Mexico. Each issue is drafted with AI and checked by a human before it goes out. We say so because the newsletter's whole premise is honesty about AI tools.

## Money and sponsors

Vendors never see a review before it publishes. Sponsors never change one. Any paid placement carries a disclosure line, and any affiliate link says "Paid link" next to it. As of September 2026 there are no sponsors and no affiliate links.
